Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education is one of the premier institutions training teachers since 1988 is situated in Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. This college for boys and girls of Osmania University is focused on the formation of the future teachers. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) the institute offers two professional courses in education. The college is located in a small campus of 0.79592 acres and it has a total of 289 students and 33 faculty members student-faculty ratio is as low as 8: 1, which makes our teaching environment and learning effective and efficient. 

The college has a duty to ensure is that the learning environment it provides is suitable for the students. It provides different amenities for improving the learning process. It plays the role of a resource centre where proper teaching books and materials needed by would-be teachers are kept. Practical sessions are equally provided by well equipped laboratories essential in teacher training. On the same ratio of development, the college offers sports facilities to enhance the physical as well as the academic development. A separate campus houses various activities of the university and also includes auditoriums, seminar halls, etc. It also pays adequate attention to student’s health with a college hospital that provides first aid services. Admission to modern technology the institution has very strong IT facilities and Internet on compound to support student to be in touch with technology and electronic resource.

The two full time courses offered by Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education are in the field of Education only. 

The admission process of Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education is in par with the policies of the Telangana state government and the particular affiliating bodies. The admission process varies for different programmes offered but for the B. Ed programme, the candidates are admitted according to the percentage obtained in the qualifying examination and /or an entrance test as per Osmania University norms. Likewise, for the D. El . Ed programme, admissions are based on the merit obtained in the qualifying examination and /or SCERT in accordance with the norms.
