Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education has been an institution of repute in the field of teacher training since 1988. It is an affiliated institution of Osmania University, recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers a two-fold professional programme in education. The admission process in Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education is compatible with the policies of the Telengana state government with regards to the relevant structures of affiliated bodies. This college would, as a rule, open its admission process in June-July for every academical year.
Admission to the B.Ed program is merit-based by taking into account the percentage in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance test under the nomenclature of Osmania University. Merit in the qualifying exam and/or SCERT must be earned for eligibility for the D.El.Ed program in accordance with the norms. Eligibility criteria for admission into the B.Ed program are a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a duly recognized university. Candidates for the D.El.Ed program must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

The application procedure of Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education, Hyderabad, consists of the following steps:

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed: Bachelor of Education or B.Ed course at Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education is a two-year full-time course, having a capacity of 150 each year. Admission to the course would be on the basis of the qualifying examination (undergraduate degree) results and/or entrance test as per Osmania University norms. The candidates may also be short-listed based on records with regard to their academic performance as well as in the entrance exam.
D.El.Ed: The college offers a two-year programme on Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with 50 seats made available. Admission to the D.El.Ed course entirely depends on merit obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) and/or SCERT norms. The selection process usually involves merit-wise ranking of candidates based on performance in the qualifying examination.
