Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) was established in the year 1997, situated in Jalandhar (Punjab). Located in a four acre plot of land, AIMETC offers a wide constituency of programmes which cuts across management and engineering. The Coimbatore institute of technology is self-financed college affiliated to Anna University and certified by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which gives quality education. The institute boasts of a student population of 339 students, and 19 strong faculty members meaning AIMETC boasts of a healthy student instructor ratio. 

Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus has many facilities all of which are geared towards improving on the learning process and development of the students. The school has the boys’ hostel for boys and the girls’ hostel for girls with a capacity of seventy five each and with the basics of internet, common room and sick bay included. Other extras appealing to physique conscious people include a fully equipped modern gym with treadmills, multi gyms etc. It has a well stocked library where the needed information on various discipline can be obtained by the institute. There are outdoor as well as indoor sport facilities for cricket, basketball, volleyball as well as badminton, apart from indoor games such as table tennis and chess. There are more than 500 computers and high end servers in computer centre separately for each departments in the University. Other infrastructure amenities include; a 300 seater hall, a cafeteria and a 52-seater deluxe bus to ease transportation.

The institute provides the courses of its study according to the fields of student interest offering a huge spectrum of the curricula. AIMETC has 8 full-time courses of study, which is under and postgraduate level of study. The total student enrollment in all the courses offered is 570 to ensure the institute upholds the right number of students per course enrollment. The MBA programme has 240 seats, BCA, BBA and B.Com (Hons) have 60 seats each and MCA has only thirty seats. The institute also have B.Tech streams that includes Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Cyber Security, and each course can accommodate a certain number of students.

This is a merit based admission process at AIMETC on the basis of the qualifying examination scores or by the entrance tests conducted by the Punjab Technical University. For MBA admission, the institute uses the scores of the national level entrance tests: CAT, CMAT and MAT. Some of the B.Tech programmes include the scores of JEE Main. AIMETC also coordinates with counseling process which is centralised process of counseling which is done by Indian state government.
