Located in Vallabh Vidyanagar in Gujarat, the AR College of Pharmacy and GH Patel Institute of Pharmacy is one of the pioneering institutions in the field of pharmaceutical education. This affiliated college was started in 198. The compact 4.99-acre campus of the institute provides a close atmosphere for its students to learn and acquire knowledge. The institute has 9 courses running in undergraduate and postgraduate fields. At the undergraduate level, the 4-yr B.Pharma course has an intake capacity of 60 students and the 2-yr D.Pharma course has an intake capacity of 60 students. As far as postgraduate courses are considered, 7 M.Pharma specializations generally hold 9 seats. These include Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacy Practice. All courses are full time, which reflects the commitment of the institute towards intensive, focused Pharmaceutical Education.
