AR College of Pharmacy and GH Patel Institute of Pharmacy, Vallabh Vidyanagar, is one of the leading pharmacy institutions in Gujarat, and as such, the college offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pharmacy. AR College of Pharmacy has an admission process through which it identifies good and eager students for its variety of courses.
Admission of students into this institute is taken from Gujarat Common Entrance Test, that is GUJCET which is a state level entrance exam taken for getting an admission to the B.Pharma. Application form for the ensuing academic session under GUJCET will start on December 16, 2024 and closes on January 7, 2025. Application Process
The application process varies for different courses in AR College of Pharmacy and GH Patel Institute of Pharmacy, as follows:
For B.Pharma and D.Pharma course:
1. Apply for GUJCET via the official portal during the scheduled dates of applying (December 16, 2024- January 7, 2025).
2. Appear for the exam of GUJCET on a scheduled date
3. Upon the declaration of the GUJCET result, undergo the Centralized Admission procedure conducted by state authorities.
4. If granted a seat in AR College of Pharmacy, then report to the institute for document verification and confirmation of admission.
For M.Pharma programs:
1. Look for M.Pharma admission notices on the college website or on the state admission authority portal.
2. Submit the application form with all documents, including the B.Pharma degree certificate and marksheets.
3. Attend any entrance exam or counseling process as mentioned by the institute or state admission authorities.
4. If selected, complete the admission formalities at the college.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The AR College of Pharmacy offers a B.Pharma course with intake capacity for 60 students. Admission is strictly based on the merit of the candidate from their GUJCET and 12th-standard scores. It is of four years' duration.
D.Pharma: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) with an intake capacity for 60 students is offered by this college. Performance in the 12th standard may also qualify admission, based on GUJCET scores.
M.Pharma: AR College of Pharmacy provides different specializations in M.Pharma with 53 seats:
