AIT, although compact at around 30 acres, offers commendable facilities such as a well-stocked library, club rooms, subject, and specific labs. Additionally, amenities like hostel accommodation, mess, canteen, and sports grounds are all available facilities.
The faculty members are highly supportive and well-qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. While the course curriculum is relevant, it may require educational self-study efforts. College exams are manageable, and with weeks of preparation, students can perform well.
The placement scenario of AIT appears robust, especially for courses in the information technology department, with an average placement of approximately 15 LPA. The college's overall average placement hovers between 10 to 12 LPA, with about 80% of students securing placements.
The infrastructure of this college is very good, and they teach on projects. Their Wi-Fi is also good, with an average speed above 70 MB/s. They have a very disciplined library, as you can study from 8 to 10 PM to build your future. Mess food has many varieties and is very hygienic. In sports, it is very good, and some of the students also reached the national level.
The teachers at the Army Institute of Technology are very good, as they are very supportive of students, and they also help you with your internships and placements; they are like your backbone. Only the first-year teachers receive less support, which is the only thing I don't like about this college.
Army institute of technology is very good college in Pune for defence wards in the lower percentile as well. Their placement is always above 90%. All branches get good placement, and the highest placement of 22–23 was 65 LPA, and 23–24 was 52 LPA. They have many clubs in which you can build your skills, like robotics club, EV club, SAE club, etc.

There are a few subjects in each semester which you may find difficult.
I am a 2nd year mechanical student in AIT. Placements till 2 years back were insanely high but since the last year the placements have dropped significantly. Exam syllabus and difficulty level is quite low and one can easily score good marks without much challenges.
The classrooms have smart boards and well-manufactured benches, and the overall look of the classrooms is nice. The labs are well maintained and have updated PCs. The library is very large and has books in almost every genre. The hostel quality is average, but we get coolers, a bed, and a study table. The mess food is above average, and the hygiene is great. We have all sorts of sports facilities and a great sports environment for all sports.
The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not very helpful. The teaching quality is not up to the mark, but the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are easy to pass, with a pass percentage of 80%.
