Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya in Kurukshetra offers various facilities to its students. The AKMV Kurukshetra facilities have well-equipped classrooms and modern laboratories for practical learning. Girls Hostel
The AKMV Kurukshetra has a girls’ hostel named ‘Gayatri Bhawan’ which can accommodate 100 girls. It has all the basic amenities like Mess and a TV/ Common room. The hostel is equipped with inverter and generator facilities. The rooms are well furnished and airy. Washrooms are hygienically well maintained.
Library
AKMV Kurukshetra has a library facility for all students. Centrally located on the first floor. Fully computerised system to issue books. Resources through N-List INFLIBNET and Digital Lab where e-resources are available 24*7 hours to all faculty and students. Separate areas for reading, placement, UG, and PG.
Sports
AKMV Kurukshetra Indoor Facilities: (a) Gym and Yoga Hall. (b) Multipurpose Hall with Badminton and Table-Tennis facility. AKMV Kurukshetra Outdoor Facilities: a) Football Ground. (b) 200 m Athletic Track. (c) Kho-Kho Court.
I.T Infrastructure
a) Five A.C. labs equipped with 94 computers. b) All labs are equipped with online UPS. c) LCD Projectors in each lab. d) Wi-Fi Internet facilities in all labs. e) Two Laser Printers, are available at AKMV Kurukshetra.
Auditorium
AKMV Kurukshetra has a spacious multipurpose hall with a sitting capacity of 800 persons. It is equipped with a proper sound system and lighting facilities. The stage has the correct dimensions and a heavy curtain. The auditorium also has a facility of high power projector and screen. This hall facilitates many Govt. functions like sub-division level Independence Day, Republic Day, Panchayat meetings, counting of votes during elections, etc.
Laboratories
The AKMV Kurukshetra has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. They are Computer Labs, Physics Lab, Chemistry Labs, Botany Lab, Zoology Lab, Home Sc. Labs, Music Lab, Fashion Designing Labs, Fine Arts Lab, Audio – Visual Lab, Language Lab.
Cafeteria
It can accommodate about 100 students at a time. Various types of snacks, soft drinks, tea, coffee, etc are available at subsidised rates. Canteen committee comprising of three teachers regularly keep in touch and keep a check on the quality, rates, and hygiene of food items being served there.
Medical/Hospital
AKMV has a qualified doctor who visits the college every Saturday. The students can consult her freely without paying any fee. Various medicines are also provided on the doctor’s recommendation to the girls free of cost.
Gym
The AKMV Kurukshetra has a Gym facility for the students.
Parking Facility
The AKMV Kurukshetra has a Cycle and Scooter stand facility.
Convenience Store
The AKMV Kurukshetra has a convenience store facility for students. (like photocopying facility & stationery, etc.). It stocks various required items needed in emergencies. Girls need not go outside the college campus for their daily purchases. It is also equipped with PCO and internet facilities.
