Asha College of Education, Markapuram, was established in the year 2010. It is an affiliated college at Yellapuram, Markapuram, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. This NCTE-approved institution specialises in Teacher Education programs. This college, located on a compact campus of 1.5 acres, offers two full-time courses with a total enrolment of students of 200. 

Asha College of Education aims to provide an effective learning environment to all its students. A well-stocked library is set as a knowledge hub for the budding educators. The institute acknowledges the role of technology in today's education system and thus has built up excellent IT infrastructure to keep the students updated about the latest digital techniques of teaching. To provide hands-on experience, the Asha College of Education has maintained departmental laboratories where the students can practice teaching. Further underlining the needs of a fully fledged education, the institute also provides sports facilities and fosters physical fitness and team spirit in its students. Asha College of Education currently offers two comprehensive courses in the field of education.

Both programmes are full-time, designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful teaching career. The college offers B.Ed. with an intake of 100 students and D.El.Ed. 

Admission to the Asha College of Education shall be made on merit, as per the policy framed by the state government/Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university. The B.Ed. course shall be offered on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination.
