Asha College of Education, Markapuram Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Asha College of Education, Markapuram is an NCTE-approved college and is affiliated to Yellapuram, Markapuram, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. The college has a systematic admission procedure to identify deserving candidates for admission into an education program for teacher training.  The admission procedures followed by the Asha College of Education conform to the policy directives of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the affiliated university. The mode of admission is strictly on the basis of merit, which is determined jointly on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and performance in the entrance examination, if any. 

The presence of these two parameters ensures that those candidates who have a sound academic background and hold potential aptitude for teaching are selected. Candidates' admission to the B.Ed. program is considered based on qualifying examination marks and entrance examination performance for 100 seats. Thus, this admission procedure is more supportive of assessing the ability of a learner on the one hand, and enriching the college's judgment of merit and potential attributes for teaching possessed by candidates in choosing the others, on the other hand. 

Application Process

1. Announcement of Admissions: The college will announce the commencement of admission through various media channels and on its official website.

2. Application Form: Interested candidates will have to obtain an application form and fill it. The form may be obtained from the college admission office, or it may be available online on the college website.

3. Document Submission: Candidates will also be required to produce important documents such as mark sheets of qualifying examinations, entrance exam scores (if this is applicable), and any other relevant certificates as specified by the college along with the completed application form.

4. Application Fee: There may be a requirement for applicant candidates to pay an application fee, with the amount and method of payment specified by the college.

5. Entrance Examination: Candidates applying for programs with an entrance examination will need to take an examination on the date provided.

6. Merit List Preparation: Based on the mark scoring in the qualifying and/or entrance examination, a merit list will be prepared.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

B.Ed.: This program that goes into the Asha College of Education, Markapuram has approval for an intake of 100 students. Admission to this program is made strictly based on merit, which is determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. Other methods of assessment may also be used based on the policy of the state government and the affiliated university. The comprehensive evaluation ensures that the most suitable candidates are selected to join the teaching profession.

The number of students admitted to the D.El.Ed. program is approved in a parallel manner: one hundred. The admission procedure for this diploma follows the same procedure as outlined for the B.Ed. program. Qualification of applicants depends on their performance in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The college abides by such selection process as prescribed by the state government and UT administration.
