Astha College of Education, Jaipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Astha College of Education is a newly constituent institution offering teacher training to boys and girls located in Jaipur Rajesthan and established in 2008. This affiliated college is situated in Kanwarpura village, Kotputli tehsil of Jaipur district where this college runs under the care of National Council for Teacher Education and Training (NCTE). Situated in an area of 0. 627 acre compact area, the college is at present conducts classes for 200 students and has a team of faculty members of 16 members.

Astha College of Education aims at making sure that students interested in the teaching profession receive all round education. It provides a number of amenities to meet the needs of student development in all areas of their lives. The library is a good and well stocked laboratory centre is well equipped with reference books, multimedia and reading hall etc. Students use the computer centre which is well connected for research and also the students can learn more using the computers. For health and wellness, the college has first aid facility. The activities which can be undertaken both indoors and outdoors include badminton, volleyball, athletic, soccer among others. There is also a canteen, an event/seminar hall and a laboratory each for Psychology, Sciences, and Social Sciences.

Astha College of Education has a clear cut straight mandate, that is, to offer only B.Ed programme which is the backbone of its educational stream. This course is a two-year full-time course aiming at producing professional teachers in response to the social demand with authorised recruitment of 200 students. 

While admitting the students, Astha College of Education lays down the official policies from the stand point of the State Government, UT Administration and the University to which the college is affiliated. The admission policy of the institutions involves the assessment of the student who wishes to enrol in those institutions in term of performance in the qualifying examination entrance test or any other examination set down by the authorities. The college also values merit when admissions are being made and as a result, exceptional and dedicated people are trained to teach.
