Aurora’s Business School is a well-known management institution located in Hyderabad, Telangana and was started in 2005. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provided postgraduate management programme. Located in Dwarakapuri Colony in close proximity to NIMS, the school has 42 faculties who are eminent professionals. Aurora’s Business School has positioned itself well on the map of other management institutions to become the centre for management education with an emphasis on building executives of tomorrow.
Aurora’s Business School boasts of well equipped facilities befitting the learning abilities of the students in the institution. This is a knowledge centre that has over 15000 books, 250 DVDs and 45 national and international magazine subscriptions. It also has a student centre which gives more than 5000 online journals and three data bases of EBSCO. The facilities has also been developed with five server, over two hundred workstation and more than fifty software packages to equip the students for the current technological demanding business environment. In order to promote the students’ all rounded development, there are sporting facilities such as billiard, snooker, foosball and table tennis among others within the school compound. The ability to connect to the internet is provided on the campus which helps in achieving academic objectives.
Aurora’s Business school presents six courses, all of which are at postgraduate level. These include PGDM, PGDM Marketing, PGDM Business Analytics, PGDM Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development & others. For the working professional, school offers PGDM Executive and part time PGDM. The PGDM programme is offered at two campuses and has got an approval of 300 students intakes while the PGDM Marketing programme has an approval of 60 students intakes. The PGDM Business Analytics programme will be given out to thirty students. These eliminates barrier to entry to management education for those with a certain career path and time table in mind.

The admission policy at Aurora is strict and rigorous. The school also promotes scores from national level entry test like CAT, XAT and MAT score are also considered for admission. Also, the institution carries out its own test known as Aurora’s Management Aptitude Test for those who did not sit for the above-stated tests. Degree wise Admission Process
PGDM: It is the flagship program of Aurora's Business School with an approved intake of about 300 students. Admission to the PGDM program is based on CAT/XAT/MAT scores or AMAT performance. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks for eligibility. The selection process comprises a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
PGDM Business Analytics: This has a basket of 30 students. The entry process for this special PGDM program is the same as the regular PGDM program and needs CAT/XAT/MAT scores or AMAT performance. Preference is given to candidates with a strong analytical background or expressed interest in data-driven decision-making. Selection is through Group Discussion and Personal Interview stages.
PGDM Marketing: A PGDM program is offered in Marketing with 60 intakes. Admission criteria and process are similar to the general PGDM program, with the criteria focusing on applicants displaying an inclination towards abstracting the concepts of marketing during selection.
PGDM Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Ventures Development: This is a specific PGDM program for most entrepreneurs at heart. Though there is no specific intake number, the admission process involves the standard PGDM criteria, which are supplemented by focusing attention on innovative thinking and entrepreneurial bent in the selection stages.
PGDM Executive: All professionals who are already working can enroll in this program. The admission process may differ slightly because it takes into account the work experience along with the academic qualifications. A bachelor's degree is typically a requirement for candidates, in addition to experience requirements.
Part-time PGDM: The program is designed for working people who cannot commit to an entire curriculum. Its admission process considers work experience and may have more flexible academic criteria than full-time programs.
