AV Abdurahman Haji Arts and Science College, Kozhikode, is a constituent institution with a varied portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Courses (Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science):
Admission on the basis of marks secured in the entrance exam (10+2) with due consideration of concerned subject marks. There are 48 seats for B.Sc Computer Science in the college. The candidates must have studied the concerned subjects at higher secondary level.

B.Com Courses (Finance, Cooperation):
For B.Com programs, college takes aggregate marks in 10+2 test, giving special importance to Commerce and Maths marks. B.Com programs offered are 60.

BA Functional English, History, Journalism and Mass Communication Programmes:
For BA programs, admission is taken on the basis of aggregate marks in the test. The college takes 60 students for BA Functional English and 40 each for BA History and for BA Journalism and Mass Communication.

BBA:
BBA programme has a capacity of 50 students. Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance at the 10+2 level with emphasis on business study aptitude.

BTTM
30 seats are available for the Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management course. Academic performance and flexibility towards the tourism industry of the candidate are taken into consideration while admitting.

Postgraduate Courses (M.Com, MA English, M.Sc Physics, M.Sc Chemistry):
For postgraduation, the candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in the same field. 30 seats are available for M.Com and MA English in the college. Admission is based on marks secured in the qualifying degree and by the university CAP.
