The PGDM course at Avanthi is a selective admission course. The School of Business Management of Avanthi accepts scores from management entrance tests conducted at the national and state levels. The national level management entrance tests accepted by the School of Business Management include CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, and ATMA. The state level entrance tests accepted by the School of Business Management are ICET Telangana, ICET Andhra Pradesh.

The PGDM course at Avanthi School of Business Management has an approved intake of 180 students. This ensures that the students get personal attention and a good learning environment. The admission cycle is generally synchronized with the academic year. The process begins in the latter part of the previous year or early in the year of admission.

Application Process

The application process to Avanthi’s School of Business Management’s PGDM program includes the following:

1. Entrance Exam: You must first appear for one of the following entrance exams (CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, ICET Telangana, or ICET Andhra Pradesh). Do prepare well for these as they will be used for shortlisting in the initial rounds.

2. Submission of Application Form: Once the applicants get the scores of the entrance exam, they need to fill the Avanthi School of Business Management’s application form, which is generally available on the institute’s official website.

3. Document Submission: Along with application form candidates need to submit necessary documents. These documents generally include:

• Entrance exam score card
• Bachelor's degree certificate and mark sheets
• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• Work experience certificates (if applicable)
• Passport size photographs
• Other certificates/documents as may be specified by the Institute

4. Application fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee as decided by the institute. The mode of payment and amount would be mentioned in the application process.

7. Final Selection: The final selection is based on a composite score, combining the scores of the entrance test, WAT, GD, and PI, the weightage being as may be decided by the Institute.

8. Offer of Admission: The selected candidates will be sent an offer of admission. They have to accept the offer and complete the admission formalities including fee payment within the stipulated time.

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDM PGDM or Post Graduate Diploma in Management is the flagship programme of Avanthi’s School of Business Management. It is a two year full time management programme designed to prepare students for careers in business management. PGDM admission is a multi-stage process:

1. Entrance Exam: Applicants must appear for any of the following entrance exams CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, ICET Telangana, ICET Andhra Pradesh

2. Short listing: Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of entrance exam score for the next round of selection process.

3. Writing Ability Test (WAT): The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a Written Ability Test to be held on 17/07/2019 to assess their Written Communication Skills.

4. Group Discussion (GD): After the WAT, the candidates would be called for a Group Discussion to assess their interpersonal skills, leadership qualities and ability to work in a team.

5. Personal Interview (PI): The last and final stage is a Personal Interview wherein candidates’ overall personality, aptitude and suitability for the program is evaluated.

The approved intake for the PGDM course is 180 students. This makes the selection process competitive and ensures the quality of students admitted.
