Avila College of Education was established in August, 1995, and is an affiliated college located in Ernakulam district in Kerala. Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area are eligible to apply.
M.Ed (Master of Education): Avila College of Education offers a two-year full time M.Ed program with a sanctioned intake of 25 seats. Admission to the M.Ed program is done on the same basis as that of B.Ed, considering performance in the qualifying examination, generally B.Ed, and/or in any entrance examination that may be conducted. The selection is therefore based on merit and follows the guidelines set forth by the State Government and the university.
