Avila College for Education, Ernakulam with the objective of being a premier institute for teacher education. Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area are eligible to apply.

M.Ed (Master of Education): Avila College of Education offers a two-year full time M.Ed program with a sanctioned intake of 25 seats. Admission to the M.Ed program is done on the same basis as that of B.Ed, considering performance in the qualifying examination, generally B.Ed, and/or in any entrance examination that may be conducted. The selection is therefore based on merit and follows the guidelines set forth by the State Government and the university.
