Azad Hind Mahavidyalaya, Mau Admission Process

Azad Hind Mahavidyalaya, Mau, The institute follows a merit-based admission process for most of its courses, with some programs having specific admission procedures as per state government and university policies. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), ensuring quality education in its teacher training programs. The admission process at Azad Hind Mahavidyalaya takes place usually before the beginning of the respective academic year, which the institution inaugurates every year in August-September.

Although the final dates may differ each year, candidates are encouraged to make preparations and present their applications generally from May-June. The eligibility criteria for admission vary from program to program. For undergraduate courses, a student must have completed his 10+2 education from a recognized board. For postgraduate courses, applicants should have a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Some courses have additional eligibility requirements.

Application process

1. Refer the official website of the college to check out admission notices and application forms.

2. Download and fill out the application form for the course applied for. Fill in all details correctly.

3. Collect all documents, which are normally:

  • Passport size photographs
  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, graduation as applicable)
  • Transfer certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other certificate as required by the institute concerned

4. Submit the above application form and all the documentations to the college admission office before the above mentioned deadline

5. Those courses which would require entrance test, for eg B.Ed., D.El. Ed, M.Ed, B.P.Ed. M.P. Ed, so appear in any of the Entrance Tests as indicated by the concerned college or conduct authority.

6. List of selected candidates may be sent for counseling or document verification. Attend these counseling sessions along with all original documents.

7. After selection, pay the admission fees as collected within the due time to get your seat.

8. Fill up the remaining enrollment form as required by the college and provide any additional document or information if needed.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Sc The college offers courses in various undergraduate B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; Physics, Chemistry, Biology; Botany, Zoology, Chemistry; Agriculture; Nursing; Animation; Computer Science. Entry is generally according to merit achieved in the previous qualifying examination namely 10 + 2 years.

B.Ed: Admission to the B.Ed programme is on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination and performance in an entrance examination or any other selection process as may be prescribed by the state government or university. Intake sanctioned for this course is 50.

D.El.Ed: Admission is merit-based to the Diploma in Elementary Education through marks obtained in the qualifying examination and performance in an entrance examination or other selection process as declared by the state government. Total intake for the course is approved at 50 seats.

M.Ed: Admission in the M.Ed is strictly merit-based, based on marks secured at the qualifying exam and performance at an entrance exam or other mode of selection adopted by the State/Central Government or the concerned University.

B.P.Ed: The B.P.Ed has written test, sports proficiency test, physical fitness test, and consideration of marks in the qualifying exam.

M.P.Ed: Admission for the Postgraduate program-Master of Physical Education is done on the basis of entrance examination -written test, fitness test, and interview- and percentage in the qualifying examination.
