Affiliated college situated in Patiala, Punjab, India comes into existence in 2009 named as Bahra Polytechnic College. Located at NH-64 Sangrur Road at village Bhedpura this institution has been imparting quality technical education for more than a decade. Some of the diploma courses include; The college provides dinner diploma programs in the various engineering fields to provide scholarships to the students, technicians, and engineers. The institution has a faculty strength of 27 committed educators and continues to make attempts to provide its students with a congenial atmosphere so essential for competitive world where hi-technological advancements are taking place at a dizzying pace.

The college has put-up a myriad of facilities aimed at improving students’ learning. The campus has qualified laboratory facilities for each department and in the technical field, practicals are an absolute necessity. For instance, the Civil Engineering department has well equipped laboratory facilities for Strength of Material, surveying, Structural Mechanics and Fluid Mechanics. The college library which extends immense support of knowledge has enriched volumes of engineering subjects and National/International journals. It also provides Del net services education helps the students to avail versatile sources of the digital world. For instance, those who may need to be accommodated, the college has well-developed hostels for boys and girls separately and additional provisions of activity centre, common room and dining hall etc. It also has newly constructed classrooms fitted with audio visual facilities, computer laboratory fully equipped with internet connection, and other sporting amenities such as tennis, basketball courts and a gym.

Bahra polytechnic college has five degree diploma programmes all of which span a period of three years and are full time. These programmes include: Diploma in computer science engineering, Diploma in electrical and engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and communication engineering and Diploma in civil engineering.
