An undergraduate program will definitely provide you an edge over a diploma course.
To become an automobile engineer, a candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Maths). Candidates must have also appeared for national-level engineering entrance exams. Some candidates also pursue M.Tech in automotive/automobile engineering for better job prospects and salary packages.
