BI Teacher Training Institute, Pallom, or Buchanan Institutions Teachers Training Institute, is a well-renowned institution aiming to produce future generations of teachers as a single-gender institution, it is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is located in the Kottayam district of Kerala. The program is focused to prepare students to be professionally able elementary school teachers. Admission into the D.El.Ed course follows the merit basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the policy of Kerala government. The approved intake for this course is 50 students.
