Degree wise Admission Process
B. V. Sc and Animal Husbandry: Admission to this undergraduate program is now made based on the performance in NEET-UG. The counseling is done by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) Board, Patna. Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of the merit in NEET and also as per the reservation policy of the Bihar Government.
M.V.Sc: Bihar Veterinary College offers 15 specializations for M.V.Sc with a total of 61 seats. The selection is based on the ICAR AIEEA-PG merit list. Further choice of subjects in counseling will be based on availability of seats and reservation policies. In case of a tie, the Bachelor's degree performance and age seniority will be considered.
Ph.D: The college provides 12 specializations for Ph.D with 16 seats in total. The admission shall be determined on the basis of candidates scores in the ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) examination. The selection process will depend on the merit list, and in case of a tie, the Master's degree performance and age will be taken into account.
