Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.) in Animal Husbandry Extension Education is a full-time course offered by Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate should possess at least 70% marks in aggregate or 7.0/10.0 in the Master’s Degree Program and in the case of SC/ST, 65% marks in aggregate or 6.5/10.00 OGPA.

Admission Details

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of scores in the ICAR-AIEEA (PG) 2022 examination. The candidates will have to opt for the subject at the time of counseling based on seat availability and the reservation policy of the Bihar Government.

a. Selection will be made on the basis of a merit list based on the scores of candidates in ICAR-AICE- JRF/SRF (Ph.D.)-2022.

b. Merit list shall be prepared for candidates who apply for admission

c. In case of a tie of Marks, performance at the Master’s Degree level examination will form the criteria. If performance at the Master’s level is also equal, then their age would determine the priority.
