BIRDS College, Belgaum offers two full-time degree programs to the students, BSW and MSW. A BSW is a three-year course, and an MSW is a two-year course; both are designed to endow a student with adequate knowledge and expertise for an efficient career in the field of social work.
Eligibility: For the BSW course, the applicants must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. For the MSW course, the applicants should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in social work or allied fields. Specific percentage requirements vary, and applicants are advised to check the details with the college.

4. Submit your application: All the application form duly filled and all documents needed to be submitted to the admissions office of the college. Normally, it is done in person or by post to the following college address: BIRDS Bachelor of Social Work College, Birds Campus, Tukanatti, Gokak, Belgavi-591244, Karnataka, India.
5. Fee to apply for admission: This would involve payment of fee applicable at the time for an application from college, howsoever so submitted

7. Merit list and admission: After the selection process, a merit list will be issued. The selected candidates have to undergo the admission procedure, including fee payment and document verification.
BSW- Bachelor of Social Work: The course is a three-year full-time in the BIRDS Bachelor of Social Work College. This course is carried out with the objectives of imparting proper foundational knowledge to students in principles and practices in social work. The candidates admission to this programme is held according to their performance in the 10+2 or equivalent examination. Intake: The intake capacity under all the programmes put together in the college is 54 students.
MSW: Master of Social Work A full-time, two-year program The advanced degree takes on from a solid base in the foundation subjects. MSW Eligibility requirement Normally a B.A./B.Sc. MSW Selection Preference can be for an academic record of distinction. Consideration given for an excellent social sciences and/or allied courses.
