The Institute has a well-stocked library with more than 5000 volumes on various subjects. The reference section of the library houses the latest editions of prescribed books as well as high-value books to satisfy the thirst for knowledge of the students. Several periodicals and journals are subscribed regularly to give the students a winning edge. The Institute Central Library serves as a model of an evolving and dynamic facility in technical learning since 1955. The library, as an established knowledge hub that is conveniently accessible by those associated with the University, has a major contribution to making the Campus an internationally top-ranked Academic & Research-driven institution. The Library’s collection comprises hybrid resources (Print & Electronic) in the field of science and technology, engineering, pharmacy, management, and hotel management. The Library also has a separate Internet section consisting of a number of networked terminals for providing recent and most comprehensive access to online journals, online databases, and other online reference resources to the faculty, students, and staff under the Intranet and Internet environment. The Central library has automated all its routine activities through library software called “LIBSYS” and also extended the scope of various services like CD-ROM database search, OPAC, and Web-based OPAC.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college is having three computer labs with the latest configuration of Dell Systems and required software.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

In order to nurture effective learning among students, all classrooms are well equipped with AC and LCD Projectors.

The present Institute Dispensary is 20 bedded including 8 bedded two isolation wards fully functional Health Care Centre providing facilities to Institute Students, Faculties, their families and staff members & their families plus Villagers around the Campus. The Dispensary is functioning in all the 3 shifts (Round the clock 24x7) including Sundays & Holidays attending all OPD and IPD & Emergency Cases. Presently it is manned by 5 Allopath & 1 Homeopath Doctor put in shift/General shift and about 20 paramedical staff. They have also Dentists, Physiotherapists, Eye, Skin, & Gynecologist as visiting specialists every week for health care services. The Health Centre is equipped with 4 Ambulances, available in all the 3 shifts fitted with Oxygen Cylinders & first aid kits.

The Campus has a Shopping Complex and consists of Co-operative Stores in addition to the stationery shop, tailoring units, cafeterias, etc. These provide for the daily requirements of the campus of nearly 5,000 residents. The construction of a full-fledged Marketing Complex and Cooperative Book Store to meet the growing needs of the Campus has recently been completed.

The campus life accommodates a prolific range of co-curricular activities as part of its daily routine. Apart from ensuring the physical well-being of students, it is also essentially a way of life for BIT-ians and helps them come together on numerous occasions in a spirit of healthy rivalry and true sportsmanship. Whether it is a casual face-off between friends, intra-college championships, or inter-college tournaments organized on a grand scale, students of BIT have proved their worth in the field of sports time and again. Stadium for Track & Field events Cricket, football, and hockey grounds Basket Ball, Volley Ball, tennis, and badminton courts Kho - Kho and Kabaddi grounds.
