The Bishop Chulaparambil Memorial College (BCM), Kottayam, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, is a women's college with high status. It offers a variety of undergraduate programs in the field of arts, commerce, and sciences. The selection of myriads of scholar students, in a fair and transparent selection procedure, happens through the admission process. For BCM Kottayam, the admission cycle generally opens at the beginning of May-June for the period starting from August-September while it keeps following CAP for the admission process of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University.

5. Submit the application and keep a hard copy for reference.
6. In addition to applying through CAP, applicants must apply directly to BCM Kottayam using the college's application form.
7. Wait for the allotment results, which will be published on the university CAP portal.
8. If selected, visit BCM Kottayam for document verification within the prescribed time limit and complete admission formalities.
9. Upon completion of the admission process, the payment of required fees has to be made.
Degree wise Admission Process
BA programs: The various BA programs of BCM Kottayam include BA English Literature Model III (Self-Finance). Admission to merit seats for the BA courses is done through CAP conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University. Candidates have to apply through CAP portal and meet the eligibility set by the university.
B.Com Programs: The College offers B.Com programs such as B.Com Computer Application (Self-Finance) and B. Com Finance and Taxation. Admissions to B.Com courses are the same as in the case of BA programs, which follow the CAP system. Applicants will have to take part in the central allotment system for seat allotment.
B.Sc Programs: Different programs of B.Sc like B.Sc Computer Science (Self-Finance) and B.Sc Food Science and Quality Control (Self-Finance) are there at BCM Kottayam. Admissions for B.Sc programs take place according to the CAP system set in place at Mahatma Gandhi University. Candidates need to apply online through the university portal.
MA Programs: There are Master of Arts in English Language and Literature (Self-Finance) and M.A. English Literature. The college allows admission via CAP and direct submission of the application forms. Applicants have to apply directly to the college.
M.Sc Programs: The college has M.Sc courses for Statistics, Mathematics, Child Development, Behavioral Science (Self-Finance). Applicants for these M.Sc courses must apply to the CAP system and also apply directly to BCM.
M.Com Programs: The college offers M.Com programs in Finance and Taxation (Self-Finance) and Marketing and International Business (Self-Finance). Applicants go through the same CAP process of application submission in addition to the direct application to the college.
MSW Program: The Master of Social Work (Self-Finance) program requires applicants to apply through CAP and submit a separate application to the college.
