Brilliant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hayathnagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Brilliant Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) was established in 2008, Hayathnagar, Telangana and affiliated to JNTUH. Having a total of 70 acres campus, it provide bet variety of engineering and management facilities. The institute is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has strictly maintained the quality education in technical stream. BIET has an SFI of 1,322 with favourable S/T ratio and has 190 members in the faculty. 

Brilliant Institute of Engineering and Technology has several facilities that are regarded as being sufficiently up to date for enhancing of the students’ performance. Having been established in the year 2000, the institute has a well stocked library with over three thousand five hundred titles, eighteen thousand volumes, journals, technical magazines and subject CDs. Students also use internet facilities for academic purposes as well if they wish to do so as well. Academic facilities include modern equipped laboratories which are updated periodically meeting requirements of industries, and allowing to gain practical experience in using modern technologies by students. For this purpose, BIET has facility canteen, gym, and adequately sports land and buildings for cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, and football aside indoor games on chess and table tennis.

The institute awards a total of 22 courses of which they include full time undergraduate, post graduate in engineering and management. The following category of courses is provided by BIET, namely B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and Diploma. From the above-mentioned list of programmes, three top programmes include B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with total intake of 180 students, B.Tech in Artificial intelligence and Data Science for 60 students and B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering for 60 students. It also has some specific programmes such as B.Tech in Cyber Security, B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and every course can accommodate 60 students.

The admission process as adopted by BIET is competitive and follows the state government and the affiliated university standard. Admission to B. Tech programmes is generally through state level entrance tests For MBA programmes admissions are normally on the basis of CAT /MAT score. The institute uses standard examination scores for students who wish to join programmes like: postgraduate engineering programmes which they use Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering scores and the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test scores for MBA programmes.
