BS Patel Polytechnic, Mehsana was established in 1999 as one of the premier technical institutions in North Gujarat, India. This constituent college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and offers various diploma programmes in engineering fields. The campus is spread over 25 acres, with a student enrollment of 1,546 and a faculty strength of 76. BS Patel Polytechnic offers nine varied courses, all of which lead up to diploma degrees, having specialties in Mechanical, Civil, and Computer Engineering. BS Patel Polytechnic has state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the learning experience of its students on campus.

The institute also has well-equipped laboratories for practical training. It has seven computer labs with 50-60 high-configuration machines, each connected to high-speed internet. The institute library is a knowledge hub with a collection of approximately 31,000 books and access to 2,000 e-journals pertaining to a wide array of technical and general subjects. There are separate hostels for boys and girls on the campus with intake capacities of 780 and 480 students, respectively, for the convenience of students. Inside these hostels, it has well-equipped modern amenities like reading rooms and TV rooms. The institute believes in a healthy body for a healthy mind and provides gym facilities and sports facilities for various indoor and outdoor games. 

BS Patel Polytechnic offers a wide range of diploma programs, all full-time courses for three years. At present, this institute offers nine different diploma courses regarding different branches of engineering. The total approved intake for all courses is 660 per annum, which substantiates the institution's potential to groom hundreds of budding engineers.
