BS Patel Polytechnic, Mehsana Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has blocks of hostels for boys that have been constructed on the campus accommodating 780 boys. The said blocks have been constructed in modern architectural splendor with state-of-the-art facilities like a reading room, TV room, separate safe cupboard, and reading table. The bathroom and toilet are shared by the inhabitants of the two rooms. Each block has a mess facility serving vegetarian and hygienic food. Some more hostels are under construction.

The college has three blocks of hostels two blocks for girls have been constructed in the campus accommodating 480 girls. The said blocks have been constructed in modern architectural splendor with state-of-the-art facilities like a reading room, TV room, separate safe cupboard, and reading table. The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college Library has been catering to the needs of the undergraduates, postgraduates, faculty, and staff members of all the departments of the institution. The book collection continues to support the teaching, research, development, and other professional activities of these departments. The demands of the ever-growing research areas across multiple disciplines are being catered with the help of the latest volumes, in almost all fields of Engineering, Science, Technology, and general areas. Salient features: A large Number of BooksThe library is well equipped with wide-ranging books from all the technical streams. The current numbers of books stand at about 31,000 and still counting. The college has a huge ground covering a large area of the campus that is available for playing outdoor games like Cricket, Volleyball, Football, and other games. Necessary arrangements for playing indoor games like Chess, Carom and Table Tennis are also made.

The College has a well-equipped laboratory. Each laboratory contains a high configuration computer machine. There are seven(7) laboratories in BS Patel Polytechnic and each laboratory has approx 50-60 Computers. Mothe st of a computer having a configuration like C13 processor, 500GB HDD, 4GB RAM, LED monitors. All Computers are connected to a high-speed internet connection. All the Computer Laboratories are equipped with Air Conditioners. It has a Microsoft Academic alliance license for Microsoft Products. We have a separate Linux Server which is configured to do practically for Operating System.

The college canteen is located on campus to meet the various requirements of the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College having Transport connectivity with Ahmadabad, Gandhinagar, and Mehsana has been ensured by regular bus service managed by the trust.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The laboratories of all the departments are well-equipped and provide state-of-the-art learning facilities.

The extension counter of the Mehsana District Urban Co-operative Bank and a branch of The State Bank of India have been set up on the campus for the purpose of providing all the required bank facilities to the students and the staff members.

The college has Beautiful guesthouses for guests and staff quarters for the faculty members have also been constructed in the campus. There are also English and Gujarati medium schools run by the trust.
