BSM PG College, Roorkee, is an exemplary institute with more than six decades of glory in providing quality education. The college provides a vast array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses under different disciplines. Degree wise Admission Process
B.A. (Bachelor of Arts): 11 specializations are available for B.A. under BSM PG College. Admissions are made according to the marks secured in the 10+2 examination. Specializations provided are History, Hindi, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Sanskrit, English, Political Science, Drawing and Painting, and Home Science.
B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science): The college offers 3 specializations in B.Sc., namely Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology. Admission is on the basis of merit, taking into account the performance of the candidate in 10+2 science stream.
B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce): There are two types of B.Com., viz. regular B.Com. and B.Com. with Computer. Admission is through marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, with preference being given to commerce stream students.
M.A. (Master of Arts): The college offers 7 specializations in M.A., which are Hindi, History, Economics, Sociology, Sanskrit, English, and Political Science. Admission is on the basis of marks scored in the respective bachelor's degree.
M.Com. (Master of Commerce): This postgraduate course takes in students on the basis of their performance in B.Com. or any allied undergraduate degree.
B.Lib.I.Sc. and M.Lib.I.Sc. (Library and Information Science): These courses are meant for students interested in library sciences. A bachelor's degree is necessary for B.Lib.I.Sc. admission, and an M.Lib.I.Sc. degree is necessary.
I was doing BCom from this college and the course curriculum was not updated and they use old teaching techniques no light no fans and worst decision to take admission their even teacher are very bad and don't know anything
