Degree wise Admission Process
B.Com Courses:
Three B.Com courses are offered by Carmelgiri College: B.Com Finance and Taxation, B.Com Computer Applications, and B.Com (General). B.Com Finance and Taxation and B.Com Computer Applications have an approved intake of 60 students per course, while the B.Com (General) course admits 40 students.
BA Programs
The college is providing BA English and BA English Literature, Communication and Journalism programs. The programs are admitted under the UGCAP system. B.Sc Psychology

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications):
BCA program admits 30 students through the UGCAP mode. It is based on merit with regard to the candidate in the qualifying examination with emphasis on math and computer science-oriented subjects.
M.Com Finance:
This postgraduate program has a sanctioned capacity of 20 students. The admissions are made based on merit considering the academic performance of the candidate in his/her bachelor degree, i.e., commerce courses.
MSW (Master of Social Work):
The MSW program takes 20 students on merit, good conduct, and character. The choice can be made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the undergraduate degree and social work experience.
