Centre for Management Studies, Orissa Engineering College, Jatni (CMS-OEC) is a reputed college started in the year of 2001. This affiliated college is situated in Jatni, Odisha; the college provides a world class management education on 4 acres of lush green land. Having an enrollment capacity of twenty three students, with only two faculty members, CMS-OEC offers a small school environment conducive to learning. The institute has only one degree program it offers and is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. By offering detailed curriculum that focuses on the actual business experiences, CMS-OEC is determined to produce the future business leaders.

The institute provides numerous amenities for improvement of student’s performance and their overall development. The library comprises 7,500 books, 40 journal, 7 international journal newspaper, periodicals, Audio-Visual CD which are become important to get research and learn. Students can Brow,. E-Journals, Internet Facilities and Services under DELNET. In the area of hostels, there are available boys’ and girls’ hostels where out compound students from other towns can comfortably stay. The campus include medical center with full-time Medical Officer and periodic health camps for students. Besides, there are facilities for playing indoor and outdoor games like, Billiards, Carom, Chess, Badminton, or Cricket besides having basketball/ Volleyball courts still under construction. This college canteen contains different snacks and meals time to time and gives a break time for students in between their classes. Also included in any convenient services, there are an automated teller machine and a sub-post office in the campus.

CMS-OEC currently offers one full-time course: MBA – The world’s most popular and recognized postgraduate degree program. It is a two-year program offered to postgraduate students with an aim of providing its stake holders with competency skills in the management job market. The curriculum of the program includes many courses in business administration in order to equip the students for incomes new organizational leadership positions. 

Entrance examination and admission at CMS-OEC follows national and state level entrance examination. The scores of Common Admission Test–CAT, Management Aptitude Test–MAT, Xavier Aptitude Test–XAT, and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination–OJEE are accepted here
