CBIT Hyderabad All Questions

Hello Nithin. It looks like you are interested in taking admission in Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology, Cuddahpah. Well, CBIT has released a notice regarding the admission procedure of 2021-22. According to the notice, 70% seats in each stream is reserved for Convener's Quota (candidates denoted as A-Category) while the remaining 30% seats is reserved for Management Quota (candidates denoted as B-Category). This 30% of seats will be filled on the basis of rank obtained in JEE mains, EAMCET and IPE or equivalent. They have also mentioned, a candidate must secure not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination or as per the government norms ( I hope you have fulfilled this criteria.)

Admission in CBIT is done on the basis of JEE Main Rank. For CSE, JEE Main AIR Cutoff should be around 25000; for ME the AIR Cutoff changes to around 40000 and   for IT , the AIR Cutoff ends up in 60000 . As per your JEE Main percentile, your rank should be in the range of 153450 - 172500. So, you may not be eligible to choose IT in CBIT based on your JEE Main performance.

At this point, I suggest you write the next session of JEE Main and try to fetch a better result. If you have attempted/will be attempting AP EAMCET, then try to crack it with good marks to get chance in CBIT.

The costs of management seats is depends on the availability and the branch you are willing to take admission. Generally it is highest for the CSE.

The donation amount keeps changing every year. In 2020 there are 40 seats available for management quota. Donation cost may vary from 10-15 lakhs. You have to keep an eye on the notification released by college authorities of CBIT, and keep in touch with them for detailed information.

Further, the admission will be strictly on the basis of merit obtained;
firstly in JEE (Mains) CRL Rank,
secondly TS EAMCET-2020 Rank,
thirdly IPE Marks (TSBIE) (or) CBSE + 2 marks (or) any other equivalent examination [should obtain equivalent certificate from Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE)].

As per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 50000-65000 .  But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data. And on such rank it would be very difficult to get CBIT because cut-off for CBIT goes around 65+ marks.

As the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

And some more factors, therefore your actual rank in TS EAMCET 2021 might vary with slight variations.

With TS ECET rank 120 and General Category, you have chances of getting Mechanical Engineering seat in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.

But chances are bit less to get Mechanical Engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad with this rank. Based on previous years cutoffs. Cutoffs varies from year to you had depends on many factors like number of seats available, category, difficulty level of exam, number of candidates appearing in the exam, etc.

hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to tell you that at your percentile your estimated rank will be around 61380 - 69000 . At your rank you holds very low chances getting seat in Vasavi and cbit in cse stream. Start preparing for next attempt and score better. Cse cutt off for vasiavi is around 25000  and for ctbit is around 22000

Based on your percentile your expected rank is around 90k-100k. The chances seem very less to get CS or ECE branch in CBIT although you might get other branches like Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology. There are many better options according to your score. I feel very sad to say this but your chances in CBIT with this percentile score is quite less . Since your estimated rank with this percentile will be somewhere around 1.5 lakh and with rank chances of your admission in CBIT is quite less . But you can make a try to boost up your percentile in the upcoming attempt .
