CAVA Mysore Admission Process

Chamarajendra Government Visual Arts College, Mysore is one of the prestigious colleges dedicated to nurturing talent in arts and graphics designing. CAVA Mysore offers serious educational training in visual arts. The college admission process is designed with the view to finding and hiring talented artists at the early stage of education.

CAVA Mysore conducts its own entrance examination for admission into Government quota seats in different courses. The entrance exam is an essential part of the admission process to select only the best and deserving students. 1. MFA Painting: Candidates must undergo an entrance test held by CAVA College. The minimum marks to pass in the entrance test are 50%. Seats are reserved on the basis of rank secured in the entrance test.

2. MFA Graphics: The process of admission is the same as that for MFA Painting. The candidates must pass the CAVA College entrance examination with a minimum of 50% marks. Allotment of seats is based on the entrance examination rank.

3. MFA Sculpture: As in all other MFA courses, the candidate has to score at least 50% in the CAVA College entrance exam. Admission is done on the basis of the ranking achieved in the entrance test.

The MFA courses are two-year postgraduation courses offering specialized study in the visual arts subjects.
