Chanakya Teachers Training College, Deoghar. It is one of the best college chains in the locality offering teacher training programs. The state university is its affiliating body and it is considered as a NCTE-approved institute. Two main courses are offered in the institution which are B.Ed and D.El.Ed. The admission process at Chanakya Teachers Training College is merit-based. The total fees for the B.Ed programmes is Rs 1,35,000.
D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education also has an intake of 100 seats. Admission to D.El.Ed is done on a similar pattern as that of B.Ed, focusing on the merit of candidates based on their performance in the qualifying examination or entrance test, as per the policy of the state government. The total fee for the D.El.Ed program is Rs 1,10,000.
