The infrastructure of the university is not that great or good but for any private university is very important to build the infrastructure as a part of there priority and improve it in every possible way.
The best college to start your career which provides you best facilities and a good infrastructure with highly educated staff. The college provide Wi-Fi facility along with proper laboratories and computer labs also species classroom and proper port facilities along with hostel facilities.
The infrastructure was good and very hugh in size. Colour combination also decent. But the cleanliness and hygiene were not that maintained as per standards and expectations. Otherwise building and area was soothing to spend 3 years.
Hi,
Joint placement program- the placements of both the colleges happen together, so I guess it wouldn't be a deciding factor.
Establishment- Chandigarh university was setup in 2012, while Chandigarh group of colleges was setup in 2001. Bonus points for cgc!
Exposure- If you're thinking that you would get a better exposure and culture at CU because it's a university, then, hello? CGC also offers other programs than engineering ! Doesn't the name clarifies it all? CHANDIGARH GROUP OF COLLEGES! Duh!
Advertising- have you ever come across an ad welcoming you to join cgc? But you must have noticed the television commercials and newspaper advertisement of Chandigarh university. I have. Cgc wins here too.
Scholarship- Chandigarh university beats cgc here, one can avail 50% tuition fees discount here just by scoring 9.6 or above cgpa in X class. Bingo right? Wrong, after the deduction of 50% fees, the amount you will have to pay would be equal to what you'll pay at cgc. So I guess minus points for cu for using such gimmicks.
All in all, cgc would be a better choice among the two. :)
