College Infrastructure is just amazing. Christ has a lust green campus and whole campus is organized and clean. Every infrastructure is available but college didn't focus much on sports. Everything is super clean and hygienic
I was studying computer science. The college is disciplined and attendance is mandatory but the quality of professor is below average. Yes, my college did push student to get job ready and organizes the workshop to help student get jobs.
Quality of placement is good, and almost 50 percent student were placed. I guess 15 LPA was the highest package that I know of. 4 LPA was the average salary offered. College did provide you enough opportunity to get placed and it's up to you if you can crack the interview.
This college is not suited for poor students and I paid around 7 lakhs at that time. Now they have increased their tuition fee further more.
Campus life was pretty good. You don't need to face ragging or racism, But the campus is far away from the main city and there nothing near the campus only some shops which are opened due to college. Students and and staff are friendly.
If you don't have any financial situation and you like a good crowd and trying to pursue further education aboard I would recommend this college.
My journey at Christ University, has been significantly shaped by it's physical infrastructure. It has all the necessary facilities and equipments available. All the classrooms are well maintained and in every classroom has projectors for better learning.
As a student at Christ University, I have been privileged to experience a learning environment that places a strong emphasis on academic excellence. The faculty members not only excel in their respective fields but also exhibit a genuine passion for imparting knowledge.
Christ University, employs a well organized and student-centric placement process. The career services team is dedicated, offering guidance on resume building, interview preparation and career counselling.
Kengeri has one of the best infrastructures in the city in terms of land area, greenery, fields and space. We have one huge library with two floors and a spacious reading hall open to all departments and even faculties. WiFi connectivity is everywhere and the speed is pretty high too for downloading large files. Classrooms are maintained on a daily basis and cleaned everyday.
Good rating for academics as our faculties are like a close knit family who uplift the students and bring them together in all aspects. One star less for the labs conducted as I feel, it could be more informative, interactive and challenging in order to engage students more practically.
Placements are very average level till date as we cannot expect a package beyong 11 LPA here for our department and even if someone is managing to get beyond that, it is mostly because of them shifting to software domain and changing their interests completely.
Overall the value for money is well maintained in christ as we get access to industrial visits, get to meet industry professionals, be a part of different clubs etc and all these are covered under our fee itself.
For me, campus life has been the best so far as I met a good bunch of people and the learning environment around me was pretty interesting and joyful too. Best thing about this campus is the exposure to multiple inter college and inter deanery level events, which can add up to one's leadership and soft skills enhancement.
Appealing aesthetics with many captivating sights like PU block entrance, bandstand lot, basketball courts etc. Student wifi is fully functioning too where students can download files with high speed internet. So far, all our classrooms have been maintained well.
Oustanding because mechanical department is known to be one of the best engineering deaneries due to super cool faculties, coordinating non teaching staff and student participation. They also provide student exchange program and offer free education in various places like Germany, South Korea etc if the student maintains a good GPA overall.
Good placements for our department as core companies give lot of priority to the brand name and this year students have got placed in big companies like Mercedes-Benz, Bharat petroleum etc! The highest package this year was 12LPA and average is 6-7 LPA
Money is given utmost value when it comes to academics but to other opportunities like attending national level seminars, tech talks, hackathons etc, we should have to pay a little extra and I feel all these could be covered under our annual fee. The fee structure for mechanical department for the first two years is 1.65 LAKH per year and the last two years is 2 lakh/ annum.
Wonderful and happening college life as we get many extra curricular claims if we actually participate and do well in other activities outside the department. Volunteers are given top level importance if they host any events and are awarded with good level certificates and appreciation. The location is in the outskirts of kengeri and the college is next to an express-highway but all these extra factors make up to the cons
Excellent infrastructure with big blackboards in each and every classrooms and well furnished laboratories. There are two libraries near block 1 and block 4 overall and each of these have a lot of study space and the course related books available all the time. Smart boards are only there in few of the rooms where seminars are taken up. Yes, all of these are well maintained.
Being a data science student, I feel there could have been more of emphasis on practical outcome of our course as it is one of the most demanding domains in the industry. So, 3/5 for the lack of such exposure as some students still struggle with the basics and I feel, there should be more doubt clearing sessions.
Very mid level placements as compared to other courses like BBA, MBA, BA.LLB etc. While other courses manage to bag the highest of high placements, the engineering students here still struggle to qualify for a basic 8LPA package. If students are given more practical knowledge, I believe this could be improved.
Course fee for almost all the courses of CSE is 2 lakh per annum for our batch but for the juniors, it has been increased to 2.2 Lakh/annum due to growing competition. Yes, I do feel my money is being worth it but there are certain areas like late payment fines, dues etc are charged more than needed from a student.
Campus life is good and vivacious due to a variety of factors. The topmost being the events like DARPAN, BLOSSOMS, MAGNOVITE etc being organised every single year which gives both the participants and the audience a life long experience to witness best talents out here in the campus.
When it comes to necessities, yes our college provides us with the best possible infrastructure possible in a place like Kengeri which is miles away from the city. Greenery, enough space for recreational activities, canteens, seminar halls etc.
Being a fresher, I am pretty happy with the academics and the level of teaching as compared to other colleges. Teachers are friendly and helpful and really push the students to be prepared in advance.
Being new here, what I have seen so far is, placements are pretty average and lack future assurance. Highest package was offered to computer science department this year and mostly every year, they get the privilege to host the maximum no of interviews and bag offers.
Course fee was increased last year and for us, it's 2 Lakh per annum and the amount of engagement I see here, I feel the money was worth it because someway or the other, with the brand name and the very location in bangalore, we can have a good grip over other competitors indivisually.
Outstanding campus life as every week there is some event going around which serves as a leisure time for most of us. They also roll out certificates to everyone even for participants and the event ideas are innovative too.
The infrastructure is well sculpted and divided into 6 blocks in total with almost 2-3 lakes, two big and small amphitheatres, one student square for event promotion, one big open auditorium for hosting inter deanery and annual fests and with canteens near each block. The architecture block has the most modern and dynamic infrastructure.
Average level of academics due to the sudden hike of student's admissions after covid and lesser amount of faculty count. Most of the classes are theory oriented and labs are not up to the expectations.
Poor placement for engineering overall as the few who bag fancy offers like 12-15LPA mostly make it up towards the end of their last semester after extensive trainings and sessions. But for the rest, average LPA stands only around 6-7LPA. For CSE department this year 15 LPA was highest on campus placement.
Mid rating for this as fee structure is around 2-2.5 lakh per annum for most of the courses despite the specialisation but money's worth is not reciprocated up to its full potential as I feel there are still some grey areas which needs to be improved like- increasing scholarship amount, decreasing the fines and giving more relaxation for medical leave.
So far, the campus life has been the best thing that worked out for me here because I am still an active part of clubs like CSA, CASH, Magnovite committee etc! I made and built a strong peer network due to the opportunities I grabbed
Infrastruce is attractive as anyone who comes here for the first time will be in awe with the greenery and blocks around. Our department has 4 floors with each floor dedicated to different specialisations and courses. The hygiene and cleanliness are given top most priority
Quite satisfied with the academics as ppts, reference books, study material etc are provided at the beginning of the semester. Only issue is the limited facilities available in the lab for practical exposure.
Not very high on campus placements as the average package offered every year is 11-12 LPA which is very less as compared to offers given to other colleges with the same specialization. The highest package this year was 15LPA and off campus was 24 LPA.
I don't think much of the money charged has made justice to the things they offer. Greatest drawback is the lack of proper lab equiptments especially for IoT students. Also, more priority should be given to industrial visits too in order to give the students a chance to see the world outside.
Campus life makes up for all the cons that this campus has. The variety of events, fests, bootcamps, tech talks etc serve as an escape for students to explore more outside the confines of the classroom. Being a part of our department club -ASCII, I got the best exposure in terms of building networks and strong connections.
Kengeri campus has a good college infrastructure in terms of classrooms, spacious halls, open air auditorium, seminar rooms, laboratories etc and everything is well maintained with regular checks and the washrooms are cleaned regularly.
For our department, the course structure is well defined where faculties provide time to time information about the ongoing updates and changes. The only con is the lack of practical exposure when it comes to practical lab experiments.
Okayish placements with highest being 10 LPA for this year and the overall average placement is around 5-6 LPA. More preferences are given to students who have done projects, research papers or other internships.
Excluding the fines they charge for n no of activities, the overall value for money deserves 4/5 rating as the other private colleges outside charge thrice what they charge here. My course fee is 1.9 lakh per annum while other private colleges have to pay almost 3lakh per year outside christ.
Good campus life as outside the department where students get a chance to engage in diverse fests, events and activities get a chance to build a broader community and bring a positive impact in their lives. Food quality could be made better.
our classroom is in 3rd block of this campus and within our block, there are other departments too like electrical engineering, sciences and humanities etc. Each floor is dedicated to each of the mentioned department. Classrooms are spacious and commodious and the lab facilities are satisfactorily good with decent lab assistants and external fundings. Wifi is pretty low and lifts are only allowed for faculties and staff. Smart boards are not found in every classroom except few.
Poor level of academics especially for our department as it is a new extension under mechanical department and needs more time to build and pace up and go hand in hand with the industries. Classroom sessions are not very interactive due to lack of student's enthusiasm and communication.
Average placement is 3 LPA for mechatronics students and this year the highest was 4LPA. The main reason is, the branch is not known to many and there are old colleges offering the same course with minimal fee and more recognition so companies give more priority to those people than us.
The huge amount of fee they cost along with the fine they charge for smallest of things is just beyond imagination. The college has strict rules and principles which are to be followed without fail and no consideration is given to students even though they have genuine reasons.
The biggest escape here is the campus life as the student crowd is pretty supportive, interactive and talented. Proper space is given to budding talents to showcase their potential in diverse fields and excel alongside. Biggest attraction is the annual fest i.e MAGNOVITE
