City College of Education, Arya Nagar, Hisar has established a well-furnished Multipurpose hall as “NIRBHAR” (निर्भर-बहुउद्देशीय भवन) with seating capacity of More than 300 students with a dais. It has total area of more than 2000 sq. ft. and is decorated with in built-sound system, two side corridor and green room. The establishment of SMRC at City College is expected to perform the following functions. Provide space and material to student teachers for hands-on experience with science and mathematics learning material. Providing the teacher-educators and student teachers with material and types of equipment for demonstration, experimentation, and other related activities. Providing opportunities to teacher educators to demonstrate process skills. Providing a place equipped with the necessary resources to stimulate thinking leads to the development of innovative teaching-learning material.
