College of Applied Science, Peermade Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

College of Applied Science Peermade is a satellite college located in the hilly Idukki district of Kerala. It is best known for its science and technology courses. The admission procedure at College of Applied Science, Peermade is transparent and just. Meritorious candidates get a chance to pursue their preferred course. The college provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The total sanctioned intake for all courses is 140 students annually.

The college provides admission to the following undergraduate courses - B. Sc Electronics, B. Sc Computer Science, and B. Com Computer Applications. There is an intake capacity of 40 students in each course. At the postgraduate level, there is the course M. Sc Computer Science with two intakes of 20 students each.

Eligibility for undergraduate programmes is usually 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institution. For M. Sc Computer Science, completion of a bachelor's degree relevant to the same is required. Subject requirements depend on the programme applied for.

Application Process

Admission process in College of Applied Science, Peermade is planned in a way that candidates are chosen on a fair basis:

1. Notification of Admissions: College notifies the beginning of admission process through website and local media.

2. Application Form: The application form is available at the college office or can be downloaded from the website.

3. Documents to submit: The candidates must submit the following documents along with the completed application form:

• Attested mark sheets of qualifying examination (10+2 for UG courses & Bachelor's degree for PG courses)
• Transfer Certificate from the previous institution attended
• Conduct Certificate
• Community Certificate (wherever applicable for reservation categories)

5. Merit List The College draws up the merit list based on marks secured in the qualifying exam and such other factors as may be prescribed for each course.

6. Admission Counseling Shortlisted students are invited for counseling in which they have the opportunity to choose the preferred course based on their merit rank and seat availability.

7. Fee Payment: The shortlisted candidates need to pay the stipulated fee in order to assure their admission.

8. Orientation: Admitted students of the College undergo an orientation course to familiarize themselves with the college rules and regulations, facilities of the college, and academic requirements.

Degree wise Admission Process

B. Sc Electronics - The eligibility for admission into this three-year full time under graduate program depends on merit at the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) with subject combinations such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

B. Sc Computer Science: The duration of B. Sc Computer Science course is also three years, and 40 students are enrolled per batch. The candidates who have completed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply.

B. Com Computer Applications: It is an undergraduate programme in commerce with computer applications. It is a three year course with an intake capacity of 40 students. The eligibility is normally 10+2 with commerce or related courses.

M. Sc Computer Science Two year full time Postgraduate programme in Computer Science (two intakes of 20 students each) based on performance at the Bachelor's degree (preferably Computer Science or related streams).
