The college library aims at providing access to its printed resources such as books and journals as well as electronic journals and online databases primarily for the use of faculty and staff at Model Polytechnic College. Its holdings should reflect their interest largely. The library stock is increasing at a rate of approximately 1,000 books a year. The library also subscribes to over 100 current periodicals and a range of electronic journals and databases. The library is supervised by a committee consisting of the librarian and three members of the faculty. The day-to-day running of the library is conducted by the librarian who is assisted by the library staff and trainee. Along with the e-reference facility is provided with internet connectivity.

The electronic lab intends to educate the students about basic electronic circuits and discrete & integrated components. The lab is facilitated with advanced equipment. This facility is used for Basic lab, Circuit lab, LIC lab, Communication lab, ME lab, etc.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has an impeccably furnished computer lab that houses close to 100 computer terminals networked and administered by efficient administrators. The lab choreographs the connectivity needs for the completely automated campus. The primary purpose of the computer lab is to provide IT infrastructure services to all students. It supports regular lab activities for Computer Hardware Engineering and Electronics And Communications Batches, academic research, study, class assignments, and campus recruitment drive. Students have access to the lab from 8.30 am to 6 pm. The college has excellent audio-visual facilities which are regularly used by all the departments for conducting presentations and seminars, documentaries on relevant topics, etc. The college conducts various training programs like Malayalam computing, Hardware, and Electronics Mechanics. The college has an efficient site and blog coordinating committees that periodically update changes.

The Medical Electronic Workshop serves as an interactive space for the students to develop their knowledge of medical electronics hardware. This workshop is equipped with several medical machines, sensors, and transducers. Students will be able to practice equipment assembling and maintenance in a workshop session.

The college has a Technology Club, English Club, Arts Club, Sports Club and Staff Club etc.

The college has NSS In an age when relationships between individuals and organizations are getting more & more complex, it is not enough only to have an excellent academic record. Being good at number crunching and scoring high marks in subjects are not the only criteria for success in professional or personal life. The ability to deal with one's feelings and understand the feelings of others in any given situation helps one to complement knowledge with human values. NSS activities are imparted to fine-tune the student's attitudes, values, beliefs, motivation desires, feelings, eagerness to learn, willingness to share and embrace new ideas, goal orientation, flexibility, persuasion, futuristic thinking, compassion, and various skill sets of communication, etiquette, and manners so that they will be able to deal with different situations which strengthen the student from within. The overall aim of NSS is the Personality Development of students through community service. It gives an extension dimension to the Higher Education system and orients the student youth to community service.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
