The CAT exam 2024 will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in three shifts in over 170 cities across India.
The KMAT entrance exam 2024 will be held in the first week of November 2024.
About College of Engineering, Trivandrum
The College of Engineering, Trivandrum is a government college which was established in the year 1939. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram (APJAKTU Thiruvananthapuram).
Courses at CET Trivandrum are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in full time mode. The courses of CET Trivandrum include B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, MBA, MCA and Ph.D programmes. The fee structure of CET Trivandrum is different for every course based on its level and duration. Admission to CET Trivandrum in B.Tech programmes are done through valid KEAM scores.
For the B.Arch selection to CET Trivandrum, National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) scores are considered. According to the MBA admission process of CET Trivandrum, candidates must qualify for CAT/CMAT/KMAT. For CET Trivandrum M.Arch and M.Plan programmes, admissions are through a Centralised allotment process by the DTE Kerala. GATE scores are accepted for M.Tech admissions at CET Trivandrum.
As per NIRF 2023 report, median package offered to students at CET Trivandrum of B.Tech is Rs 6.00 Lakhs and M.Tech is Rs 5.50 Lakhs. Likewise, during placements of CET Trivandrum, B.Arch students got a median package of Rs 7.20 Lakhs and M.Arch students received Rs 12.00 Lakhs. College Infrastructure
Our college has all the necessary facilities. It has an amenities centre for women. The classrooms have projectors and there are several conference halls. The central library provides technical books and there are libraries in each department as well. The living spaces are clean and well maintained.

Our college has one of the best infrastructures. For CS department, there are 4 computer labs, 2 seminar halls, one special room and all required classrooms. We have a free wifi connection for students well maintained. We have 2 water purifier+cooler for drinking water facility.

Given below is the syllabus for IPUCET for the four-year, full-time BA Economics programme offered at the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University under the five-year UG-PG scheme through various affiliated colleges:
- General English (20%)
- Economics and Statistics (40%), and
- Mathematics (40%)

If you belong to a reserved category (OBC/SC/ST), your chances improve in private or tier-3 engineering colleges. Branches like Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science might be available in smaller colleges. Government colleges may not be feasible at this rank
