24 MonthsMaster of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc) in Aquatic Animal Health is a two-year full-time postgraduate course offered by Central Agricultural University, Imphal, and Approved by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Candidates with bachelor’ degrees in concerned/related subjects from a recognized University with OGPA of 6.60/10.00, 3.25/5.00, 2.6/4.00 for General/OBC/UPS candidates are eligible for admission to the Master’s Degree programs. SC/ST/PC candidates with OGPA of 5.60/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 in the Bachelor’s degree program shall be eligible for admission. In the case where Grade Points are not awarded, only marks are awarded, the candidates must have secured at least 60% marks for the General/OBC/UPS category and 50% marks for SC/ST/PC category.
The selection of candidates for Master’s programmes will be based on the Entrance Examination marks (60% weight) and academic performance in qualifying Degree Examinations (40% weight). 20% marks, with negative marking in the entrance examination, will be the qualifying mark for shortlisting under all categories.
