Ph.D. in aquaculture program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, and approved by The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).


Eligibility Criteria

  • M.F.Sc. Degree in the concerned subject of the Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra or of any other Agricultural University recognized as equivalent thereto.
  • Entrance Examination - Common Entrance Test in Fisheries faculty conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board, Pune

    The candidate should be on the merit list of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2017-18 conducted by the MAUEB, Pune, and should have passed the postgraduate degree examination with a minimum 6.5 CGPA on a 10.00 point scale.
