The College of Food Technology, Parbhani, was started in 1976 and is one of the pioneer colleges focused on food technology, education, and research. The college is situated in Parbhani, Maharashtra, India, and it is a constituent college of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV). As an autonomous institute, the college occupies a vast area of 9 acres and provides specialised courses in food technology at different levels. Currently, the college has 294 students and is staffed with 15 teaching members of the faculty.
The College of Food Technology, Parbhani, has specialised in facilities that can complement the learning process as well as the general development of the students. It enjoys state-of-the-art laboratory facilities designed to support the food technology process and research activities. An extensive library provides students with necessary knowledge that is vital for successful academic activities in the chosen discipline. For physical fitness as well as recreation, the college has some field and gym for sports and other activities. Students who want to be researchers or academics can undertake the Ph.D. in Food Technology, which takes three years and focuses on research in the sub-field.

Selection will be based on the qualifying examination (10+2) and possibly a relevant entrance examination from the point of view of Offeror. It deals with the different aspects of food technology and hence creates a sound underpinning in this field.
M.Tech Food Technology: A two-year postgraduate program intended for those who want further study in the field of food technology. Any graduate degree with 50 percent is eligible. Admission will be on the basis of performance in the first degree as well as marks obtained in relevant postgraduate entrance tests.
Ph.D. Food Technology: Basically structured for those interested in research or teaching in food technology. The eligibility criteria demand an M.Phil degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Admission will be based on evaluation of the research proposal and prior academic background; an interview may be held.
It is government college so building is old . Classrooms spacious but benches and boards are old . Library facility is available. Library have has huge collection of academic and non academic books .
The college have all necessary infrastructure like ground, canteen, food courtall types of facilities like wi fi in few of the classrooms, library are available and all are well maintained. Overall the infrastructure is nice.
