The College of Non-Conventional Vocational Courses for Women, Kolhapur, was established in the year 1994 with the noble aim of the best institution that imparts quality education to women students. This quintessentially affiliated college is built over an enormous land space of 11 acres in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. CNCVCW has been awarded accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, attesting to its commitment towards excellence in academic rigor. The institute offers multiple 8 courses in 5 degree programs to a total student enrolment of 615. The number of faculty is 25, with a very commendable student-faculty ratio. The college primarily lays its focus on undergraduate programs, with 93% of the students enrolled in UG courses and only 7% in PG programs. CNCVCW has modern

The undergraduate course offers a total of 8 different options in UG and one in PG. The undergraduate program encompasses many subjects like B.Sc. It also has a Department of Undergraduate Studies, offering courses in Food Technology and Management, Bachelor of Interior Design, BA Dress Making and Fashion Coordination, B.Com in Bank Management and Business Management, B.Sc. Environmental Science, and BA in Multimedia. For postgraduate studies, it offers a PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics. All undergraduate full-time courses in this college are three-year courses, while the PG diploma is just a one-year course. Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Sc. Food Technology and Management: Intake capacity is 60 seats. Admission is granted based on the marks obtained at 12th standard and also on performance in a written examination/interview. Final selection is considered on 50% weightage of 12th marks and 50% on entrance exam/interview.

BID-Bachelor of Interior Design: It has an intake capacity of 60 seats, and admission follows the same criteria as the B.Sc. program; that is, it considers the marks obtained at 12th standard and also performance in a written examination/interview.

B.A. Dress Making and Fashion Coordination: This course has 60 seats. The process of admission is the same as other undergraduate courses, where both 12th marks and performance in entrance exam/interview are given equal weightage.

B.Sc. Environmental Science: This course also has 60 seats, and the process of admission is based on 12th standard marks and a written examination/interview, following the 50-50 weightage system.

B.Com. Bank Management and B.Com. Business Management: Both programs have an intake of 60 seats each. The admission process is merit-based, considering 12th standard marks and performance in a written examination/interview.

B.A. Multimedia: Unlike other programs, admission to B.A. Multimedia is solely based on Higher Secondary (H.S.C. or equivalent) examination results.

PGD Nutrition and Dietetics: This postgraduate diploma course admits students solely on merit. However, the merit criteria are not specified, and it is presumed that the calculation of merit takes into account the candidate's undergraduate performance.

M.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition: This postgraduate course has an intake of 30 seats and has a merit-based admission process.
