Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher  Education (NCTE) and offered by Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least 50% marks (in Aggregate), either in the Bachelor’s degree OR Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology of Dibrugarh University or any other Institute recognized by Dibrugarh University with specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission into the programme.

A candidate securing 50% or more in the Honours / Major subjects but less than 50% marks in aggregate in all the courses/ papers of the Bachelor’s degree will not be eligible for admission to the B.Ed. In the programme, the requirement is 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission Details

In the College of Teacher Education Golaghat, first preference is given to in-service Training of Govt. Deputed Teachers sent by Govt. of Assam, only after this process is completed fresh candidates who have cleared the C.E.T (Combined Entrance Test) conducted by Dibrugarh University are admitted strictly according to merit.
