One of the best colleges in India.Labs are well equiped.Micro lab get samples from medical college to check lepto and other diseases. As a part of clinics,a hospital is going on both mannuthy and kokkala.Microscopes are well available with requirement.
A well academics section is going on.Highly eligible teachers are there.Notescqre provided as per the requirement.Well equiped library is present.Practicals are carrying out with theory classes.Doubts are well cleared
Placements are not well known actually. As far as veterinary doctors are concerned jobs are present on outside. No placement is actually needed.ou seniors are also finding the job as per there own wishes.
Per year we have to pay around 28000rupess.As far as the facilities are concerned,it's not a great money, because even mbbs govt.colleges too receive such an amount, but the complaint is that college always delays on distributing the scholarships which is indicated with the institution
Now the college have well improved as compared with my first year. Now the college is very alluring with it's aesthetic beauty.Well oriented and arrangements for waste disposal is there.Since there are efficient workers on farm and labs biowastes are scientifically disposed.Cleanliness is also an important speciality
Really veterinary is one of the best course though public have different opinions. But those who knows what outside is they always tell veterinary is best than mbbs. For perceiving that our college is best for everyone irrespective of status, income, caste,Creed or religion.Everyone can achieve there goals if u have a determined mind.....for most of the students...veterinary profession is a dream....
College infrastructure is outstanding. All class rooms are equipped with projectors, blackboards. Smartclass room facility is also availanble. Some labs have space problems as they cannot accomodate much according to increased no of students. Badminton, volley courts, basketball, football, cricket all games can be played. A well updated library with lot of books are also there. Mess is handled by students, so there is good food. Wifi is there in hostels
There are only 2 colleges in kerala which teach BVSc&AH. All the faculties are much experienced both in fields and in teaching. For 2016 batch onwards new VCI syllabus is followed. Clinical experience, laboratories, libraries etc are good enough. But increasing no of students is a big issue as it isdifficult to manage them in clinics and class
Many of the graduated ones also go for PG. Passed out ones have been placed as night vet, govt services, veterinary surgeons, lnsurance cimpanies, meat inspectors, pharmaceutical companies and many more. Those who completed PG and PhD can turn into asst professors. There are many opportunities. But getting a govt job seems to be difficult.
The course is worthful for money as they are providing excellent faculties and facilities. But fee increment year by year is sometimes annoying. Mess fees are given only according to the food
There is much area for hang out. Playground is the main attraction. All facilities are available in near by areas. Rather than academics there many extracurricular activities like arts sports workshops etc
Commendable infrastructure. College has laboratories for all the departments. A full fledged scientific library is there with connectivity. Annual sports events are held, with facilities for football, cricket, basketball and a gymnasium. We also have WIFI equipped library. Food served is up to the health standards.
My course deals with Master of Veterinary Sciences. I would say the teaching pedagogy is outstanding. Curriculum is updated to the new Veterinary Council of India (VSI) syllabus. I believe in training and budding vets and the college trains me for just the same. This college believes in promoting hands on experience.
The Placements and Counselling Cell of the college is highly supportive and puts in appreciable efforts. All of the veterinarians are well placed in hospitals across the country. We get the best placements, be it on campus or off campus.
It costs just INR 40,000 - 50,000 per year. The course is excellent for aspiring veterinarians.
The college is near Thrissur College is one of the best part of the campus with its scenic hills and long stretches of road. It is a blissful heaven. Staff is one of a kind and always helpful.
