About Crescent School of Architecture, Chennai

The constituent college was set up in the year 2010 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is known as Crescent School of Architecture popularly abbreviated as CSA. As the name suggests this is a prestigious college to train architects and designers of the future with sound academic and hands on experience. CSA has become one of the pioneers in architectural education as approved by the Council of Architecture. The college has a team of 40 highly qualified professionals qualified teachers to provide desired student-teacher ratio. CSA offers three full-time programmes: The B.Arch M.Arch, and B.Des have an enrolment capacity of 140 students spread across the two courses. It has a co-educational policy of the campus which makes it possible for young architects and designers to learn in a mix group.

CSA boasts of the comfortable and well equipped learning unit that will create the appropriate learning environment for the students. The college has also this facility of a library where some 2000 volumes of books and journals national and international are subscribed for extensive reference for research and study. It has standard desktops with the best software to ensure that students practice in building construction and documentation. To enhance practical learning CSA has specialized tool like sera Thermopolis cutting machines measuring tapes carving toolkits etc. for the Model Making Workshop . The climatology lab where students can affect and study climatology factors accompanied by a “Total Weather Station”. The college also has other facilities like; JC, dining hall, assembly hall and sports complex so that the students can be fully entertained besides the classroom learning.

The three courses offered at the institute are in all launched as full time programmes. This diverse offering of programmes fits multiple interests that people may have in relation to architecture and design, therefore affording the student multiple ways to engage in the subject matter that are of interest to them.

The Crescent School of Architecture (CSA), located in the city of Chennai, is an esteemed institution dedicated to giving specialized programs in architecture and design.
