CT College of Education, Jalandhar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

CT College of Education, Jalandhar has been set up in the year 2003 and is a pioneer institution to provide the teacher education programme. This one is a coeducational college situated in Greater Kailash, GT Road, Maqsudan, Jalandhar, Punjab; It is an affiliated college under NCTE – National Council for Teacher Education. Located in a 2 acre land, CT College of Education has two full time courses in education and total strength capacity of 199 students. Situated in Nagpur the college enlists 22+ membered highly qualified faculty to deliver teaching which is further supported by appropriate student teacher ratio.

Currently the college has a variety of modern infrastructures that support its institutional commitments. The college library has a collection of more than 8000 text books, 750 reference books and members are allowed to access 19 journals and six educational magazines. As for basic practical facilities, the college has departmental laboratories. There are boys and girls hostels in the campus that allow the students to stay in comfortable and well furnished rooms Besides, there are coolers also installed. A clinic with first-aid, a gym and recreation facilities are useful for students’ comprehensive health and recreation. The college also offers Information Technology aids, event and seminar venue in an auditorium, and a cafeteria or canteen for meal services.

CT College of Education offers two primary courses Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed). There are also both full-time and two-year programmes aimed at maximising students’ chances of becoming successful educators. 

The admission process in all courses in CT College of Education is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying /entrance exam. Admission in this college is done in accordance to the policies of the state government, UT administration and the affiliated university. As for the B.Ed programme, the candidates have to secure the qualifying examination cut of marks or any other method so decided by following policy.
