Hello,

According to the Times of India B School Rankings, DSB Delhi is India's top-ranked MBA and PGDM school, surpassing the new IIMs.

Difference between Phd and PGDM -

Phd -

A PhD is a postgraduate academic degree that is given by universities and other institutions of higher learning to a candidate after they have completed a thesis or dissertation that is the result of in-depth research in their field of interest. Depending on where you are and what you are studying, PhDs have different requirements.

However, the PhD is typically the highest degree a student can earn (with some exceptions). It often comes after a master's degree, however some institutions can let students go straight from their bachelor's degree to a PhD.

PGDM-

AICTE-recognized independent B-Schools provide the 2-year PGDM degree, which emphasises practical management expertise. If the college is accredited by AIU, the Postgraduate Diploma in Management, or PGDM, is comparable to the MBA.

Both the PGDM and MBA courses cover management studies at the postgraduate level.

Candidates for the course must have graduated, preferably from management, in order to be eligible. However, graduates from any field are eligible to apply for this programme. MAT, CAT, XAT, and other entrance tests are the primary criteria for PGDM admission.

Thank You
