DAV College for Girls is one of the premier educational institutes in Haryana, India, and it is quite popular among earning girls. The college offers many under-graduate and post-graduate programs across disciplines. The admission process at DAV College for Girls is merit-based, thus allowing all deserving candidates a chance in their desired courses.

The college usually holds its admissions beginning in August-September for the respective academic year. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Com: The college has many different programs under B.Com such as B.Com (Hons), B.Com with Advertising Sales Management and Sales Promotion, B.Com Banking and Insurance, B.Com Computer Application, and B.Com E-Commerce. Admission to all these programs would be on merit only, taking into consideration the marks obtained in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

B.Sc: DAV College for Girls has several B.Sc courses like B.Sc Mathematics (Hons), B.Sc Home Science, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Sc Computer Applications, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Fashion Designing, B.Sc Industrial Microbiology, B.Sc Medical, and B.Sc Non-Medical. Admission is based only on merit on relevant subjects of 10+2 examination.

BA: The college has BA programs consisting of BA (General), BA Economics (Hons), BA English (Hons), BA Mathematics (Hons), BA Psychology (Hons), and BA Mass Communication. Merit roses through the count down of marks in the qualifying exam.

BCA: Admission to this program is merit-based, judged on relevant subjects from the qualifying examination of 10+2.

M.Com: Merit based on performance in the qualifying bachelor's degree examination will take place at admission to the M.Com course.

M.Sc: The college offers M.Sc Mathematics and Computer Science courses. Admission will be based on merit strictly, with consideration of marks of relevant bachelor degree.

MA: There are several MA programs under Applied Yoga and Health; Economics; English; and Human Rights and Value Education. Admission will be made on merit basis considering marks scored in qualifying bachelor's degree.
