DAV College, Jalandhar, which was set up in 1918, is one of the leading co-educational institutions in Punjab, India. This affiliated college which is recognized by the NAAC has 88 acres of area. DAV College is one of the oldest Institute of Higher learning with its origin dating back over a century. Within the institution, there are 33 courses in 15 degree programmes for a total enrolment of 4,637 students; the institution is staffed by a faculty of 199 members.

One of the things that the college is most proud of is its infrastructure since most of them have been specially put to complement the learning process. In the postgraduate level, the college provides M.Sc courses in Chemistry, Computer Science Mathematics and others.
